A guided builder with a set of designed templates, a bank of pre-written bullet and summary phrasing you can drop in by job title, AI suggestions as you type, and a matching cover letter builder. The word “free” on the homepage means the building is free — the download isn’t. A plain .txt export with all formatting stripped is genuinely free; a PDF or Word file requires a plan. As of late 2026 that’s a roughly $1.95 fourteen-day trial that converts automatically to about $25.95 every four weeks unless you cancel, or a yearly plan around $71.
