Our Commitment

RoastMyResume, operated by BMCM LLC, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Measures Taken

RoastMyResume takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

• Semantic HTML structure throughout the site
• Sufficient color contrast ratios between text and backgrounds
• Keyboard navigable interactive elements
• Descriptive link text and button labels
• Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
• Alt text for meaningful images
• ARIA labels where appropriate for screen readers
• Focus indicators on interactive elements
• Logical heading hierarchy on all pages

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

• PDF resume upload: The file upload process relies on drag-and-drop and file picker interactions that may be difficult with some assistive technologies. We provide a standard file input as a fallback.
• AI-generated content: Roast results and rewrites are dynamically generated and may not always follow optimal reading order for screen readers.
• Downloadable roast images: Dynamically generated share images are visual in nature and may not include full text alternatives.
