This is a comedy tool with a serious rule underneath it: every flag has to quote a real line from the posting. The jokes are about the writing. The score is about honesty and specificity, not whether the job sounds fun.
Postings lie by omission
A posting with no salary, no named team, and responsibilities that could describe any job at any company isnât necessarily fake. But it is exactly what a ghost job looks like from the outside, and a real share of postings are never filled. The five-point ghost check runs the signals the text can show. Two more you have to check yourself: is it on the companyâs own careers page, and was it posted in the last 30 days?
Why the score can be high for a real job
Plenty of legitimate roles are written badly. âFast-paced environment,â âwear many hats,â and âcompetitive salaryâ with no number are habits, not lies. A high score means the posting is asking you to trust it without giving you a reason. It doesnât mean the company is bad; it means find out more before you invest the application. The âin fairnessâ section gives credit wherever the posting earns it.
Nothing about the company is stored
The AI is told never to name the employer or any person, and only the roast is saved (for seven days, so the share link works). The posting text itself is never stored. If you want to post the card somewhere, the joke is on the writing, not on anyone in particular.

What does the Red Flag Score measure?
How much the posting asks you to trust it without giving you a reason. No salary, no named team, responsibilities that could describe any job, requirements that don't match the title, and three roles stapled into one all push it up. A clear, specific posting with a salary range scores low even if the job sounds boring.
Does a high score mean the job is fake?
No. It means the posting has the shape of one. Plenty of real roles are written badly. Treat a high score as a reason to check two things the AI can't: whether the role is on the company's own careers page, and whether it was posted in the last 30 days.
Will it name the company?
The AI is told never to name the employer, the product, or any person, even if the posting does. The roast is about the writing. Read your result before sharing it anyway, since a very specific posting can still be recognisable.
Do you keep the posting?
No. Only the roast is stored, for 7 days, so the share link works. The posting text is used to generate the roast and then dropped.
