Marketing Manager Resume Example
A mid-level B2B marketing manager six years in, who runs paid, email and webinar programs for a SaaS company on a $1.2M annual budget.
A fictional resume written by our team. The person, employers and numbers are invented; the tools, licenses and schools are real.
Why it works
- 1
“B2B demand gen marketer, 6 years in SaaS. Runs a $1.2M annual budget across paid search, LinkedIn and lifecycle email, measured on pipeline and CAC, not clicks. Hands-on in HubSpot, GA4 and Google Ads.”
Names the budget, the channels and the metric the work is judged on. Those three facts tell a marketing leader the size of the job right away.
- 2
“Grew marketing-sourced pipeline from $2.4M to $5.1M a year in 18 months on a flat $1.2M budget”
Uses the from A to B in N months at $C spend pattern. A flat budget shows the growth came from better spending, not more of it.
- 3
“Ended a $180k trade show program after a 2-year review found 4 closed deals, and moved the money into webinars”
Strong marketers cut things. Naming the program, its cost and the evidence shows judgment, not only activity.
- 4
“Built 6 HubSpot lifecycle flows that lifted trial-to-paid from 9% to 14%, measured against a 10% holdout group”
Says how the lift was measured. A holdout tells the reader the number is real and that the marketer knows where attribution gets shaky.
- 5
“Ran $40k a month in Google Ads, raising ROAS from 2.1 to 3.4 with tighter match types and 140 negative keywords”
Channel, monthly spend and the ROAS change in one line, which are the numbers a paid media lead checks first.
How it scored
We ran this example through the same free roast you can use, three times, and kept the middle result. The roast ranks a resume against a typical applicant pile and grades hard: even a resume with a number in nearly every bullet usually lands in the B range.
Copy the text
Use it as a skeleton, then replace every line with your own work. A copied bullet with someone else's numbers is the fastest way to fail an interview question.
